「奥浩哉」の人気マンガを「佐藤信介」監督が映画化したＳＦサスぺンス・アクションで前編からの続きとなります。

前編でも紹介していますが、前作は原作の13～14巻位までで本作は原作と違った結末で終わっているそうです。（私は原作の15巻以降は未読でした）
謎の多い物語ですが、結末はどうなるのか？と期待して劇場へ脚を運びました。
原作は知らないので比較出来ませんが、途中までは「火垂るの墓(1988)」と同じくらい暗い結末になってしまうのかと思えるほど「Good Ending」とはかけ離れた展開で後半へと進んでいきます。
シナリオの中心なる「星人」なるエイリアンが２種類いて、敵となる方の言い分は「先に仕掛けてきた報復」らしいが、こやつ等が何処の何者かは判らずじまいです。
卒業生がまたガンツの部屋に呼び戻されたり、ガンツが弱りだしたりと何でも有りの設定には驚かされますが、最後まで飽きずに鑑賞出来たのはツッコミ所があっても納得出来るオチで終わらせてくれたからだと思います。
今回も「二宮和也」「松山ケンイチ」は前作に続き好演で「山田孝之」も加わり、前編を観た人なら後編は観ておくしかないでしょう。
原作のコミックファンが、この作品に納得するかどうかは判らないが、とにかく機会があったら原作はまだ連載中だが読んでみたいと思います。
