映画パンフレット専門店の店長が見てきた映画をレビューします
この“Ｘ-ＭＥＮ”シリーズは既に４作品
「Ｘ-メン(2000)」
「Ｘ-ＭＥＮ２(2003)」
「Ｘ-ＭＥＮ：ファイナル ディシジョン(2006)」
「ウルヴァリン：Ｘ-ＭＥＮ ＺＥＲＯ(2009)」
と制作されているが、本作はこれらの作品の以前の設定、つまりビギニングとなる内容で全ての作品を観てきた私は、本作が一番面白くシリーズ最高傑作です。
本作は絶対に劇場で観ることをオススメします。
主演は「ウォンテッド(2008)」の「ジェームズ・マカヴォイ」と「イングロリアス・バスターズ(2009)」の「ミヒャエル・ファスベンダー」で、「プロフェッサーＸ」が歩けなくなった理由や「マグニートー」との関係など如何にして出会い、如何にして決別したのかがドラマチックに描かれている。
そして「ミスティーク」や「ビースト」の今まで判らなかった関係が明らかになり、鑑賞後に帰宅するなり過去の4作品のDVDを改めて観る為に引っ張り出してきました。
アメコミの原作は読んでいないので、私と同じような環境で前作品を観てきた方なら多分同じように観直したくなると思いますよ。
内容もキューバ危機の背景裏に彼らミュータント達の活躍があったという設定でラストの海戦シーンなどは迫力があり見応えがあります。
テンポも良いので131分は全く苦になりません。
名優「ケヴィン・ベーコン」が悪の親玉という設定は、私には嬉しい内容で「ヒュー・ジャックマン」も1カットですが出演してるし、シリーズ3作に「ミスティーク」役で出演していた「レベッカ・ローミン」も一瞬ですが出演しています。
取合えず最初に観るDVDは「ウルヴァリン：Ｘ-ＭＥＮ ＺＥＲＯ(2009)」で決まりです！
